Hofland is a family-owned horticultural business rooted in the Netherlands since the late 19th century. Spread across 6 hectares, they specialise in the sustainable cultivation of premium plants — from Schlumbergera and Dianthus to Calibrachoa, Argyranthemum, and their signature Checkies range.

To optimise light quality and enhance crop performance, Hofland implemented a tailored setup of 456 x RV600 and 155 x RV1200 fixtures, each paired with a powerful 3-channel control system. This precision lighting setup enables full control over light intensity and spectrum, creating the ideal conditions for plant development while reducing the need for artificial stimulants.

By shifting to smart, energy-efficient LED grow lighting, Hofland is achieving healthier, higher-yielding crops — all while maintaining their eco-conscious standards.
